Iris came to us from Glenavan Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds. She was bred by Mary Olich Nie and has been a fabulous addition to our home. She is a fun loving, loyal little lady.

She will be bred to our Ch. Wagsmores's Up to Snuff MLD this year 1998. We have high hopes! She has been a great producer for Mary Nie.

Iris won the Open Miniature class at the Met Atlanta DC show (entry of 19 breeder judge Carol Spritzer) during Dachshund Club of America (DCA) national specialty week 1997. Her children did well at the DCA also, with her Daughter winning the Open Miniature B&T and any other color (than Red) class (entry 13) with Iris coming in 3rd. Her son won the Open Miniature B&T and AOC Dog class. We were quite pleased. She has one champion child and two other pointed children that we are sure will complete their championships.
