Nick, named after his Father “Ch. Suntura’s Royal Salute ML”, was a breakthrough dog for us. He completed his championship in the United States with all specialty wins, finishing at the Dachshund Club of America National Specialty Show where he was also honored with an Award of Merit. He then went down under to live and show with Rosemary Sisson where he was shown to his Australian championship and experienced the pinnacle his career by winning best in show at the Australian Dachshund Club National Specialty Show. He was shown by Vicky McGinty and Karyn and is the first and only miniature longhaired Dachshund to achieve this honor.
